What vehicles do you cover for Mileage Correction?
We now offer Mileage Correction for most makes and models or cars and vans. Some Mileage Corrections can be done over OBD and in other case modules have to be removed from the vehicle. The Mileage is stored in more than one module in modern cars, thus the cost will depend on how many modules need to be corrected.
What is Mileage Correction?
Mileage correction is useful when you replace a faulty speedo/clock in the car or van. If you buy a used speedo or even a new replacement, you will need to have the Mileage Corrected to match your original Mielage. If the correction not performed then your MOT and service stamps will not match and thus will show a red flag on the HPI register and de-value your car when you come to selling your car.
Can you Clone/Repair my Clocks/Speedo?
In most cases we are able to clone you faulty Clock/Speedo thus you retain all your existing setting and Data. Why is this important? Many manufacturers store Immobilizer/Key information in the Speedo/Clocks memory. If you replace the speedo/clocks without cloning the data, the chances are, you car will not start.
